Clancy Sr., Mayor John Noak, and Trustee Lourdes Aguirre Absent 2- Trustee Jose Chavez, and Trustee Ken Griffin 2. POSTING OF COLORS, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. PETITIONS FROM THE PUBLIC Dorothy Resch-The homeowners on Bluff Rd. have come before the Board several times to object to Romeoville's plan for redevelopment of land that is unsuitable for such a proposal. You have not heeded our research or expert advice. Tonight we go on record to remind you of all of the problems we have warned you about. She than stated those problems that they have spoken of prior to this evening. Susan Larson-We have all been here before. You will listen to us and still go ahead and vote for this project as been done in the past. You are responsible for your actions when the problems arise and they will. The next vote is for the TIF which does not make sense. There is no blight or deteriorated buildings in this area. A good TIF makes a community better. Approving this TIF will not make this community better. You have one more chance to vote on your own. 4. CONSENT AGENDA A motion was made by Trustee Richards, seconded by Trustee Aguirre, to do a consent agenda. Condolences to the Dover Family and to the Kelly Family. Romeoville Smiles Dentistry will be holding their ribbon cutting on January 31st. The Metra Station ribbon cutting will be held on February 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Service to the station will begin on February 5th. Our Sam's Club and our Target are closing. These are national decisions by the corporate offices. When we have more news as to what will become of these sites, we will let the public know. 6. CLERK'S REPORT No report. 7. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Palmiter- Condolences to Bernice. Public Works has done a great job. Another amazing audit. Finance does a great job. Trustee Clancy- Condolences to the Anton and the Baker families. Great job with the snow plowing. Daddy/Daughter Dance registration ends on July 21st. Great job to our Finance Department. Trustee Richards- Condolences to Bernice. Condolences to Jean Kelly. Thanks to our Finance Department and the Public Works Department for the great job they do. Planning and Zoning's January 23rd meeting has been cancelled. Stay warm and stay safe. Check on your neighbors. Trustee Aguirre- Condolences to Bernice and to all who lost loved ones. Tannks to the Receration Center for their great facility. The streets have been wonderful. 11.
