RES18-2458 A Resolution to Accept a Quote for Power Washing and Painting With Pecover Decorating Services, Inc. for Power Washing the Recreation Center Building and Painting the Dryvit on the Exterior of the Recreation Center Building for a Cost Not to Exceed $28,400.00 This Resolution was Approved. 5. MAYOR'S REPORT Thanks to all who joined us for Pizza with Peter Rabbit and the Easter Egg Hunt. Thanks to all who put together the Viet Nam Recognition Flag raising ceremony. Thanks to Trustee Griffin for taking the lead on this. Thanks to all who participated in the SRA vs Officials basketball game last night. I attended the Mayor’s Day Volunteer Event at the Romeoville Food Pantry last night. I attended the ground breaking ceremony for Windham Lakes Office 3 this morning. The State of the Village will be held on April 12th at the Athletic and Event Center. 18-2466 Proclamation -Child Abuse Prevention Month Deputy Chief Lucchesi thanked the Mayor and Board for this proclamation. He added that we are participating in the Pinwheels Program as we did last year. Terrie LeStronge is heading up this campaign. Last year we collected $1500.00 which was donated to the Guardian Angel Home. We are hoping to beat that this year. We will be taking donations throughout the month of April. CLERK'S REPORT The Community Service Council will meet on April 17th at 6:30 p.m. The Valley View Education Enrichment Foundation will meet on April 25th. The Viet Nam event last week was well attended. Thanks to Trustee Griffina and staff. 7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS None 8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT Our Community Development Director Steve Rockwell received news today that his nephew was one of the marines that perished in the helicopter accident yesterday. RES18-2459 A Resolution Authorizing an Amendment to a Development Agreement with ONEOK North System, L.L.C. This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2460 A Resolution Authorizing a Concession Stand License Agreement (Lightning Event and Management LLC—Volunteer Park, Village Park, and Snack Shack—Recreation Center) This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2461 A Resolution Accepting a Quotation for the Purchase of Flooring at the Romeoville Recreation Center—Fitness Center—Connor Sports This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2462 A Resolution Authorizing an Economic Incentive Agreement (North Rock Real Estate, LLC—Ross Stores) This Resolution was Approved. 10. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Chavez- The Youth Outreach Commission is holding their Trivia Night this Friday, April 6th. They are also accepting scholarship applications until April 13th. The Youth Police Academy is taking applications until May 11th. There is room for 20 kids. Mom and Son Night is coming up at the Recreation Center. They offer such great programs. Trustee Griffin- Thanks to all who participated in the Viet Nam Veteran's Ceremony. Condolences to Steve and his family. Trustee Clancy- A Recreation update was given. Condolences to Steve Rockwell and his family. Trustee Richards- Support the Youth Outreach Commission on Friday. Congratulations to the NWCSRA Wolves on their win last night.
