CALL TO ORDER Roll Call Present 6- Trustee Jose Chavez, Trustee Ken Griffin, Trustee Dave Richards, Trustee Brian A. PETITIONS FROM THE PUBLIC Janet Gardner- Special thanks to Steve Gulden and Eric Bjork for their help in getting the bike trail repaired. It is very nice and safe now. They went above and beyond on this issue. The truck traffic is still a work in progress. She would like to meet on this issue again. Mary Dewald- She echoes what Jan said regarding the great job on the bike path. She wants to again address the property at Pine Trail Dr. She is asking the Board for no warehouses on this property. The two properties closest to their houses are for sale and they are perfect for a recreational park area. She would appreciate that the Village keeps the residents informed of the plans for this property. 4. RES18-2585 Authorizing the Waiving of the Bid Requirement and the acceptance of the Open-End (Equity) Lease Quotes for Eight (8) vehicles for the Fire Department from Enterprise Fleet Management under the Master Equity Lease Agreement with Enterprise FM Trust per Resolution 18-2496 This Resolution was Approved. 5. MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor Noak stated that there are no new projects involved with the public hearings today. I attended the Disabled Veteran’s Golf Outing on September 10th. This was a great event. This is a home grown effort. Thanks to all who came out for the parade. There was a great turnout. Amanda’s Dog Grooming held their ribbon cutting yesterday. Integrity Manufacturing will be holding their ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 25th. CT Realty will be hosting a grand opening event, Lewis University will be dedicating their new student center and Allegra will be holding a ribbon cutting for their new location on September 27th. JJC will be holding their annual State of the College on September 28th. Congratulations to Trish Stach who is retiring, her last day will be September 28th. I attended the Lewis University Red Tie Ball. Thanks to his colleagues at CMAP. He has been named to the Executive Board. This Resolution was Approved. 10. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Chavez- Very happy to hear the Bernice made it to the parade. Many thanks to the residents who spoke today. That is good customer service. Don't hesitate to come to us if you have concerns/questions. Looking forward to seeing the design for the Public Works facility. Checkers is open. Check it out. The Youth Outreach Commission fundraiser tickets go on sale October 1st. This is a great event. Trustee Griffin- The Veteran's Commission has a banner program. The banners are terrific looking. Go to the Village's website for more information. The voicemail line is still going 815-886-6341. The next meeting will be October 16th. Congratulations on the parade. Trustee Clancy- A Recreation update was given. Thanks to Trish and hope she enjoys her retirement. The last car show was tremendous. Thanks to the Rec Center for the great parade. Trustee Richards- The parade was a great event. Thanks to the residents who came out. Congratulations to the Grand Marshall Art Arellano. Congratulations to Trish on her retirement.
