3. PETITIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
Mary Dewald-
She is here to address the Independence Blvd. future development. She is
glad to hear that it is going to be cleaned up. She is not glad to hear that
this could possibly be warehouses with additional truck traffic. She
requests that the Village take the residents into consideration especially
with regards to the property across from their homes. Make sure that the
residents matter when this property is developed.
Janet Gardner-
We have met in the past and she is reaching out to the Village to see if the
Village can purchase the property across from her house and put a park
there. She does apreciate that the area is getting some beautification.
She appreciates the report that she was sent regarding the trucks in her
area. Her one concern is that they are giving out a lot of warnings instead
of citations. The traffic through this area is getting bad especially with the
construction on Weber Rd.
