RES19-2811 A Resolution Authorizing the Delivery of Certain Previously Purchased SCBA Equipment and the Acceptance, Retention and/or Delivery of Certain Additional SCBA Equipment by and from Air One Equipment, Inc. MAYOR'S REPORT I had the pleasure of touring our newest hotel. It is a wonderful facility. I met with the owner of Gio's who are also the owners of El Barrio. Thanks to all who came out for our Veterans Day Service. Congratulations to the Chamber Awards winners. The Village and Lewis University was presented with the Community Wins Grant yesterday for the Innovation Hub. Thanks to Governor Pritzker, the US Conference of Mayors, Wells Fargo and our local elected officials for attending the ceremony. Irene King will be holding a ribbon cutting for their new community food pantry tomorrow. Harvest Saturday is this Saturday. Please give if you are able. Congratulations to all of the DARE graduates. Village Offices will be closed on November 28th and 29th in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. CLERK'S REPORT The Community Service Council met Tuesday. They were nominated for the ACE Award although they did not win. The Valley View Enrichment Foundation will be meeting tomorrow. Congratulations to Chris Burne on his promotion to Commander. Happy Thanksgiving to all. 7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS None 8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT Congratulations to the Mayor and Lewis for putting together the Incubator Village of Romeoville Page 3 Printed on 1/2/2020 Village Board Meeting Minutes November 20, 2019 Program. NEW BUSINESS A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Chavez, to do a consent agenda for New Business Excluding ORD19-1597 which will be Tabled until December 4, 2019. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Trustee Chavez, Trustee Palmiter, Trustee Griffin, Trustee Richards, Trustee Clancy, and Trustee Aguirre Non-voting: 1- Mayor Noak ORD19-1597 An Ordinance Approving a Special Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development - Final Development Plan for Mongo’s Signage at 1101 N. RES19-2817 A Resolution Approving a Facility Use Agreement with Made Hoops LLC This Resolution was Approved. 10. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Chavez- Last week for yard waste pickup is next week. Harvest Saturday is a great event. The RHS Spartan's Baseball Dugout Club will be holding their bowling fundraiser on January 25th at Strike and Spare. The Youth Outreach Commission Trivia Challenge will be April 3rd. Happy Thanksgiving. Trustee Clancy- A Recreation update was given. Please give to Harvest Saturday, it is a tremendous thing. The Veterans Day Service was very nice. Happy Thanksgiving. Trustee Richards- Thanks to all who put the Veterans Day Service together. Thanks to all who came out. Harvest Saturday is a great event. Home Depot and Jewel are big sponsors of this event. If you can volunteer, we will be happy to have you. Happy Thanksgiving. Trustee Aguirre- Give for Harvest Saturday if you can. The Fire and Police Commission will meet on December 10th at 6:30.
