The hybrid meeting enables people joining remotely or in-person to listen to the Council meeting and participate during public comment items. Council Member Dan Dugan will conduct the formal meeting. B. PUBLIC HEARINGS: NONE. C. POTENTIAL ACTION ITEMS: 1. Resolution: Redistricting City Council District Boundaries The Council will consider adopting a resolution that would change some City Council district boundaries based on the results of the 2020 Census. Redistricting occurs every decade to create substantially equal populations between the districts to ensure fairer representation. D. COMMENTS: NONE. E. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Resolution: Appointment to the Utah Inland Port Authority Board The Council will consider approving a resolution confirming a Council Member appointment to the Utah Inland Port Authority Board. Ordinance: 20 MPH Default Speed Limit on City Streets The Council will consider adopting an ordinance that would amend Section 12.36.020 of the Salt Lake City Code Pertaining to the Prima Facie Speed Limit. This would change the speed limit from 25 mph to 20 mph. The City's default speed limit is set in City Code.
