City of San Antonio AGENDA City Council B Session Council Briefing Room 100 Military Plaza San Antonio, Texas 78205 Wednesday, November 6, 2024 2:00 PM City Hall Complex The City Council will hold its meeting beginning at the above referenced date and time for the following items. Once convened, the City Council will take up the following items in any order during the meeting but no sooner than the designated times. Once a quorum is established, the City Council shall consider the following ITEMS 1. Briefing on proposed revisions to the City’s Economic Development Department Incentives Policy Guidelines. [Alejandra Lopez, Assistant City Manager; Brenda Hicks­Sorensen, Director, Economic Development] 2. Briefing on the release of a solicitation for education and training providers in high­demand industries to train Ready to Work participants and provide intake and case management services. [Alejandra Lopez, Assistant City Manager; Michael Ramsey, Director, Workforce Development] EXECUTIVE SESSION At any time during the meeting, the City Council may recess into executive session in the Presidio Conference Room to consult with the City Attorney's Office (Texas Government Code Section 551.071) and deliberate or discuss any of the following: A. Economic development negotiations pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.087 (economic development). B. The purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.072 (real property). C. Discuss personnel matters related to the appointment of the City Auditor and discuss legal issues pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 (personnel matters) and Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (consultation with attorney). ADJOURNMENT 5:00 P.M. – If the Council has not yet adjourned, the presiding officer shall entertain a motion to continue the council meeting, postpone the remaining items to the next council meeting date, or recess and reconvene the meeting at a specified time on the following day.
