Briefing and possible action on updating Chapter 10 (Building­Related Codes) by adopting the 2024 editions of the International Code Council (ICC) building­related codes, and the 2023 National Electrical Code with local amendments, and updating Chapter 11, Fire Prevention, by adopting the 2024 edition of the ICC Fire Code with local amendments. Director's Report At any time during the meeting, the Building­Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board Meeting may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
