Houston Street, Monday, October 13, 2025 9:00 AM San Antonio, TX 78205, 10.W1003 – 10th Floor The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting will hold its regular meeting in the 100 W. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, 10.W1003 – 10th Floor beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Once a quorum is established, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting shall consider the following: Approval of Minutes 1. Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission meeting on August 11, 2025. Briefing and Possible Action on the following items 2. Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval to administer a Probationary Firefighter Examination. The two-hour written examination will be given at 9:00 AM on December 3, 2025, at the Fire Training Academy, 300 S. Callaghan Road, San Antonio, Texas 78227. The eligibility list will be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of approval or until the list has been exhausted. 3. Notice and appropriate action to approve a list of psychiatrists to evaluate a San Antonio Police Department applicant. 4. Review, discussion, and possible action regarding SAFD applicants appeal to beginning positions. a. Aaron Campos – Rule IX 14c – Criminal Activity – Eligible to reapply when the unsuitability factor is no longer applicable b. Earles effective August 27, 2025. A letter of appeal was received on August 29, 2025. aa. An indefinite suspension for Officer Miguel J. Marchand effective August 28, 2025. A letter of appeal was received on August 29, 2025.
