Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women

The Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women will hold its regular meeting in the Plaza de
Armas beginning at 5:30 PM. Once convened, the Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women
will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.
Members of the public can comment on items on the agenda. To submit comments or sign up to

Once a quorum is established, the Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women shall consider
the following:
Approval of Minutes
1. Approval of the minutes from the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women meeting on
March 12, 2025
Public Comments

Public Comments [Interested speakers will have 3 minutes to address the Mayor’s
Commission on the Status of Women on agenda related matters]
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
3. Discussion and possible action on the April 11 Women’s event held by the Mayor’s
Commission on the Status of Women and the COSA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and
Accessibility Department
4. Discussion and possible action on the budget and creation of upcoming spending action plan
5. Discussion and possible action on the Alamo Colleges scholarship and allocation of
remainder of scholarship funds with Alamo Colleges
6. Update and possible action on Bylaws
7. Announcements, Upcoming Events and Future Items
8. Motion to Adjourn
ADJOURNMENT
At any time during the meeting, the Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women may meet in
executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client
matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
