City of San Antonio AGENDA Ready to Work Advisory Board San Antonio Food Bank Tuesday, October 25, 2022 1:00 PM Mays Family Culinary Center The Ready to Work Advisory Board will hold its regular meeting in the San Antonio Food Bank Mays Family Culinary Center beginning at 1:00 PM. Once convened, the Ready to Work Advisory Board will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Citizens may make public comments for, against, or on any item on the agenda by signing up to speak in person, emailing their comments to workforce@sanatonio.gov, or via voicemail through (210) 207­ 3934, until 5:00pm the day before the meeting. Comments must be limited to 300 words, and may be submitted in English or Spanish, and will be presented to the Board by City staff either in full or in summary, if necessary for the orderly and timely flow of the meeting. Note: Comments that do not pertain to the agenda items sent by email or left on voicemail will not be presented to the Board. Once a quorum is established, the Ready to Work Advisory Board shall consider the following: Approval of Minutes 1. Approval of the minutes from the Ready to Work meeting on August 16, 2022. Public Comments Briefing and Possible Action on the following items 2. Ready to Work Program Update 3. Briefing and Possible Action on Employer Engagement Subcommittee Updates and Recommendations. 4. Briefing and Possible Action on Community Outreach Subcommittee Updates and Recommendations. 5. Briefing on Ready to Work Advisory Board Overview 6. Executive Session At any time during the meeting, the Ready to Work Advisory Board may meet in executive session for Briefing and Possible Action on the following items 2. Ready to Work Program Update 3. Briefing and Possible Action on Employer Engagement Subcommittee Updates and Recommendations. 4. Briefing and Possible Action on Community Outreach Subcommittee Updates and Recommendations. 5. Briefing on Ready to Work Advisory Board Overview 6. Executive Session At any time during the meeting, the Ready to Work Advisory Board may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. The accessible entrance and accessible parking are located near the entrance to the Mays Family Center, accessed through the parking lot adjacent to Hwy 151 Access Road.
