Center
The Ready to Work Advisory Board will hold its regular meeting in the Alamo Colleges Westside
Education and Training Center, 610 SW 41st St, San Antonio, TX 78237, beginning at 1:00 PM. Once
convened, the Ready to Work Advisory Board will take up the following items no sooner than the
designated times.
Citizens may make public comments for, against, or on any item on the agenda by signing up to speak in
person, emailing their comments to workforce@sanatonio.gov, or via voicemail through (210) 207
3934, until 5:00pm the day before the meeting. Comments must be limited to 300 words, and may be
submitted in English or Spanish, and will be presented to the Board by City staff either in full or in
summary, if necessary for the orderly and timely flow of the meeting.
Note: Comments that do not pertain to the agenda items sent by email or left on voicemail will not be
presented to the Board.
Once a quorum is established, the Ready to Work Advisory Board shall consider the following:
Approval of Minutes
1. Approval of the minutes from the Ready to Work meeting on March 28, 2023.
Public Comments
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
2. Ready to Work Program Update
3. Discussion and Possible Action on Target Occupations
4. Briefing on Jobs For the Future Employer Engagement Community of Practice Report
5. Subcommittee Updates
6. Briefing on Ready to Work Referral Incentive Plan for CommunityBased Organizations
At any time during the meeting, the Ready to Work Advisory Board may meet in executive session for
consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the
Public Comments
