City of San Antonio AGENDA Ready to Work Advisory Board Community Outreach Subcommittee City Hall Riverwalk Tuesday, April 12, 2022 8:30 AM Conference Room The Ready to Work Advisory Board Community Outreach Subcommittee will hold its regular meeting in the City Hall Riverwalk Conference Room beginning at 8:30 AM. Once convened, the Ready to Work Advisory Board Community Outreach Subcommittee will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Citizens may make public comments for, against, or on any item on the agenda by signing up to speak in person, emailing their comments to workforce@sanatonio.gov, or via voicemail through (210) 207­ 3934, until 5:00pm the day before the meeting. Comments must be limited to 300 words, and may be submitted in English or Spanish, and will be presented to the Board by City staff either in full or in summary, if necessary for the orderly and timely flow of the meeting. Note: Comments that do not pertain to the agenda items sent by email or left on voicemail will not be presented to Committee. Once a quorum is established, the Ready to Work Advisory Board Community Outreach Subcommittee shall consider the following: Approval of Minutes 1. Approval of the minutes from the Ready to Work Community Outreach Subcommittee meeting on March 8, 2022. Public Comments Briefing and Possible Action on the following items 2. Employer Pledge Update 3. Creative Noggin marketing and outreach update 4. Discussion on participant barriers, grassroots outreach efforts, data dashboard metrics, and promotion of the approved SA: Ready to Work training catalog 5. Discussion and possible action on new Community Outreach Subcommittee member ADJOURNMENT At any time during the meeting, the Ready to Work Advisory Board Community Outreach Subcommittee may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
