City of San Antonio AGENDA Public Meeting of the Naming Committee of the San Antonio Public Library Board of Trustees Central Library Monday, August 25, 2025 5:30 PM Auditorium, 600 Soledad, San Antonio, Texas 78205 The Public Meeting of the Naming Committee of the San Antonio Public Library Board of Trustees will be held in the Central Library Auditorium, 600 Soledad, San Antonio, Texas 78205 beginning at 5:30 PM. Once convened, the Public Meeting of the Naming Committee of the San Antonio Public Library Board of Trustees will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times. Public comment may be provided as follows: 1. Submit written comments via the Library's website (https://www.mysapl.org/About/Board of Trustees). Comments are limited to 300 words. Please include your full name, home or work address and item number. 2. Drop off a written statement at Central Library, 600 Soledad, San Antonio, Texas 78205. The written statement can be up to 300 words. Please include your full name, home or work address and item #, if applicable, you are speaking about. 3. Sign up in person: Members of the public are given three (3) minutes to speak, and groups are given nine (9) minutes to address the Naming Committee. Members of the public must register in person (fill out provided sign in sheet) prior to 5:30 p.m. Note: Comments may be submitted in English or Spanish. Written comments must be received by Monday, August 25, 2025 at noon CT to allow time for translation. The Public Meeting of the Naming Committee of the San Antonio Public Library Board of Trustees shall hear comment on the following: Receive Public Comment 1. Receive public comment on the proposed naming of the Flexible Classroom of the Texana Resource Center at the Central library as the 'Kelleher Family Foundation Classroom,' in recognition of a gift in accordance with a Board-approved naming opportunity. 2. Receive public comment on the proposed naming of the Listening Station of the Texana Resource Center at the Central Library as the 'Frost Bank Charitable Foundation Listening Station,' in recognition of a gift in accordance with a Board-approved naming opportunity.
