City of San Antonio AGENDA Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee Tuesday, November 29, 2022 2:00 PM City Tower The Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee will hold its regular meeting at City Tower, 100 W. Houston St., Floor 18, Room 18.W103, San Antonio, TX 78205 at 2:00 PM. Once a quorum is established, the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee shall consider the following: Approval of Minutes 1. Approval of the minutes from the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee meetings on February 18, 2022, April 25, 2022, and June 18, 2022. Public Comments Individuals may sign up for live public comment the day of the meeting. Those unable to attend the meeting may participate by submitting written comment via email or voice message until 5:00 PM on the day before the meeting. Comments may be provided in English or Spanish and interpretation services will be provided with advanced notice. Email comments of up to 300 words to SmallBizInfo@sanantonio.gov. Voicemail comments can be left at (210) 207­3957. Voice messages will be limited to 300 words transcribed. Comments that do not pertain to the agenda items will not be presented to the Committee. Briefing and Possible Action on the Following Items 2. Briefing on Council Consideration Request by Councilmember Melissa Cabello Havrda, District 6, regarding an Ordinance for Local Preference Awards for Low Bid Street Improvement Contracts. [Razi Hosseini, Director, Public Works] 3. Staff briefing on proposed changes to the Local Preference Program. [Troy Elliott, Director, Finance Department; Angelica Mata, Assistant Director, Finance Department] presented to the Committee. Briefing and Possible Action on the Following Items 2.
