Agenda

EARLY NEIGHBORHOOD NOTIFICATION NOTICE NOVEMBER 30, 2022 6:00 PM ATTEND VIRTUALLY ENN NAME Henry Lynch Road Reconstruction Project PROJECT ADDRESS Between Agua Fria Street and Rufina Street DESCRIPTION The Henry Lynch Road Reconstruction Project has been included in the Infrastructure Capital Improvement Project (ICIP) for the past several years now. But more importantly, it is the only project that is prioritized in three (3) City roadway planning documents: ICIP 2023-2028, IFCIP 2021-2027, and SFMTP 2020-2045 which in a way proves the necessity and priority for this project for the City of Santa Fe. In the past few years, land use on Henry Lynch Road and the surrounding area has changed dramatically. Apartment complexes, single family homes, schools, commercial areas have recently been built in this once predominantly mobile/manufactured home and industrial area. Its proximity to huge commercial complexes located along Richards Avenue and Cerrillos Road such as the Home Depot and Walmart makes Henry Lynch a more traveled road than in the past. The proposed reconstruction project will begin from Agua Fria St. to Rufina St. and will include repaving of the road which currently is in a very poor condition. This reconstruction of Henry Lynch Road includes the addition of ADA compliant sidewalks, curb, gutter, bike lanes and associated drainage facilities to better serve the residents by improving connectivity to public transportation and developing a multi-modal transportation system.
