Meeting Minutes – Scranton City Planning Commission Wednesday, January 22, 2025 6:00 PM Governors Room City Hall, 2nd Floor 340 North Washington Avenue, Scranton, Pennsylvania The Scranton City Planning Commission held a regularly scheduled meeting on January 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Governors Room, 340 North Washington Ave, Scranton, PA. CALL TO ORDER: Mr. Pousley called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Commissioners Present: Joseph Murphy Jonathan Bates Jennifer Davis Gus Fahey Todd Pousley Staff Present: Casey Cawley City Engineer Jacob Weinberg, Assistant City Planner Joe Price, Solicitor APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Mr. Pousley made a MOTION to accept the November minutes. Mr. Murphy seconded. (APPROVED 5-0). NEW BUISNESS a. Review of Preliminary Land Development Plan for new development at Hill Top Heights for the Scranton Housing Authority at 136 Belvedere Dr, Scranton, PA 18505 in the R-11 zone. The commissioners reviewed the plans and requested additional sidewalks and a fence around the retention pond, as well as for representatives of the Scranton Housing Authority to appear at the following meeting to discuss the project. Mr. Murphy made a MOTION to accept the plans, and Ms. Davis seconded (APPROVED 5-0)  b. Review of Preliminary Land Development Plan for Advanced Automotive Building by Lackawanna College Center for Technological Innovation at 522 Wyoming Ave, Scranton, PA 18503 in the HC zone. Mr. Murphy made a motion, seconded by Mr. Fahey, to accept the plans for review. (APPROVED 5-0) ADJOURNMENT Mr. Murphy made a MOTION to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Fahey.
