Meeting Minutes – Scranton City Planning Commission
Wednesday, March 26th, 2025

1. CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Enten called the meeting to order at 6:00pm
Commissioner’s Present:
Gus Fahey
Ryan Falagan
Johnathan Bates
Joe Enten
Staff Present:
Don King, City Planner
Casey Cawley, City Engineer
Jacob Weinberg, Assistant City Planner
2. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
a. Nomination for Chairman of the Planning Commission.
Todd Pousley was nominated for Chairman by Mr. Enten, seconded by Mr. Fahey.
Mr. Pousley received a unanimous vote for Chairman
b. Nomination for Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission.
Joe Enten was nominated for Vice Chairman by Mr. Fahey, seconded by Mr. Flanagan.
Mr. Enten received a unanimous vote for Vice Chairman.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a. January 2025 Minutes
4. OLD BUSINESS
a. Review of Preliminary Land Development Plan for Advanced Automotive Building by
Lackawanna College Center for Technological Innovation at 522 Wyoming Ave, Scranton,
PA 18503 in the HC zone.
CITY ENGINNER: Recommending approval with conditions on receiving outstanding
approval and corrections on engineering plans.
Mr. Enten made a motion, seconded Mr. Bates, to grant conditional approval upon meeting
the conditions outlined in the engineering letter. (APPROVED 4-0)
b. Review of Preliminary Land Development Plan for new development at Hill Top Heights for
the Scranton Housing Authority at 136 Belvedere Dr, Scranton, PA 18505 in the R-11 zone.
CITY ENGINEER: Recommending approval with conditions on March Engineering letter.
Mr. Enten made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bates, to approve the plans with the conditions.
(APPROVED 4-0)
5. GENERAL COMMISSION BUSINESS
a. Solicitor search
The Board will continue to seek a new solicitor using the Cities call for board attorneys.
6. ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Enten made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Fahey. (APPROVED 4-0)
