Khem Khoeun Ralph Klein Alison PureSlovin Commissioner Rottner made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Potthast to approve Keith A. Robinson the Minutes of the May 9, 2023 Regular Meeting as written. Motion carried 5-0. EdieSueSutker Manager John T. Lockerby Counsel Michael M. Large The Board reviewed a memorandum presented by Chief Baker announcing the retirement of Sergeant Edward Zahn. The Board also reviewed a request from Entry Level Firefighter candidate Ryan Abad for a one-time deferral of his rank on the Eligibility List. Vice Chair Levlne made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Soco to accept the resignation of Sergeant Edward Zahn and the request for deferral of candidate Ryan Awards and Distinctions Abad, Entry Level Firefighter. Motion carried 5-0, American Public Works Association (APWA) Accreditation Chief Baker provided an update on the Latera! Entry and Entry Level Police Officer Commission on Fire Accreditation recruitment processes. As of June 15, 2023, 75 applications have been requested for International (CFAI) Laterat Entry and as of the close of the Entry Level Police Officer recruitment process, 60 Gold Level Clean Air Counts candidates were deemed eligible to sit for the examination scheduled for Saturday, June Community 24, 2023.. Government Finance Officers Association Budget Award Government Finance Officers Chief Hoeflich announced the Fire Lieutenant Promotional Process which launched on Association Certificate of May 16, 2023 and had a total of 21 candidates. Interview dates are scheduled for August Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting 21-23,2023. Illinois Law Enforcement Accreditation (ILEAP) At 6:20 pm, Commissioner Rottner, seconded by Commissioner Soco, made a motion Insurance Services Office (ISO) to move into Executive Session. Motion carried 5-0. Class One Fire Department State of Illinois Certified Health The next regular Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 17, 2023 in Village Department Hall.
