12909 MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Skokie, Cook County, Illinois held in the Council Chambers at 5127 Oakton Street at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 In the Mayor’s absence, Village Clerk Pramod Shah entertained a motion to appoint Trustee Roberts as Mayor Pro Tempore. Award: Chairman of the Fine Arts Commission Andrea Siegel presented the 2015 Skokie Award for Artistic Excellence to Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater and the Skokie Concert Choir. Report of the Village Manager. *A. Stop Loss Liability Coverage. Motion to concur with staff’s recommendation to purchase stop loss coverage between $1 million and $2 million from Gemini Insurance at a premium of $195,477.62. Omnibus vote. B. Request for Executive Session. Motion to approve the Village Manager’s request for an Executive Session pursuant to Section 2, Paragraph C.6 of the State of Illinois Open Meetings Act at the end of the regular meeting and to adjourn therefrom. Case 2010-18P – A request by the owner of Old Orchard Towers at 5200-5260 Old Orchard Road for an amendment to Site Plan Approval Ordinance 10-11-Z-3796 through the Modified Review Procedure to allow changes to the site landscape plan Motion to approve the Petitioner’s request that Site Plan approval ordinance 10-11-Z- 3796 be amended by modifying condition #1 subject to all conditions. Also present was Manager Lockerby, Assistant Corporation Counsel Wicha, Corporation Counsel Lorge, Assistant Corporation Counsel McCarthy , Risk Manager Prottsman, Community Development Director Peyer and Economic Coordinator Thompson.
