12925 MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Skokie, Cook County, Illinois held in the Council Chambers at 5127 Oakton Street at 8 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 Pledge of Allegiance led by Village Clerk Pramod Shah. The Clerk called the Roll. Those present were Roberts, Sutker, Ulrich, Bromberg, Klein, Gray- Keeler and Mayor Van Dusen. Motion to approve the Consent Agenda with exception of Item B on the Manager’s report. Motion to concur with Staff’s recommendations to approve the proposed Village Code Modifications and request Mayor and Board authorize the Corporation Counsel to draft the necessary ordinance. Purchase of Two (2) Public Works Pick-up Trucks – Currie Motors, Frankfort, Illinois – $57,285. Ordinance 15-8-C-4166 Motion to adopt an ordinance granting relief from Chapter 10, Article I, Section 10-10 of the Skokie Village Code pertaining to the temporary sale and consumption of alcoholic liquor on the public right of way and municipal property. Ordinance 15-8-C-4167 Motion to adopt an ordinance amending Chapters 14, 22, 38 and 50 of the Skokie Village Code, pertaining to fire prevention and suppression and the adoption of the 2012 edition of the International Fire Prevention Code. Plan Commission Case 2015-25P – Zoning Chapter Amendment: Refuse Collection and Receptacles Jeff Burman spoke about recommending amendments to the Zoning Chapter regarding refuse collection and trash receptacles. Howard Meyer, Executive Director of Skokie Chamber concurred with Staff recommendation not to amend the Zoning Chapter of the Village Code.
