MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Skokie, Cook County, Illinois held in the Council Chambers at 5127 Oakton Street at 8
p.m. on Tuesday January 16, 2018
Pledge of Allegiance led by Cub Scout Pack #968 and #970 from Skokie School District 68.
The Mayor called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the Roll. Those present were Roberts, Sutker, Ulrich, Bromberg, Klein, Gray-
Keeler and Mayor Van Dusen.

commercial corridor storefront enhancement program.
Economic Development Specialist Leslie Murphy and tenant Dhayaa Al Adili answered
questions from the Board.

Limit.
Motion to concur with the Village Manager to request an Ordinance approve the establishment of
25 mph speed limit on Central Park Avenue: Main Street to Dempster Street.

Motion to concur with the Village Manager to request an Ordinance to approve upgrade of
uncontrolled intersections in Skokie: Jarvis Avenue and Lowell Avenue to Two-Way stop sign
control and Jarvis Avenue and Kedvale Avenue to Two-Way stop sign control.

Motion to concur with Staff recommendation and request Mayor and Board approval of the use
of Water Contingency Funds budgeted in the amount of $225,000 for emergency repairs.

to TX Transit Mixed-use be granted subject to all conditions.

Single-Family zoning district be approved subject to all conditions.
