13240 MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Skokie, Cook County, Illinois held in the Council Chambers at 5127 Oakton Street at 8 p.m. on Monday January 7, 2019 Pledge of Allegiance led by Village Clerk Pramod Shah. The Mayor called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the Roll. Those present were Roberts, Sutker, Ulrich, Bromberg, Klein, Gray- Keeler and Mayor Van Dusen. Motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Moved: Trustee Roberts Seconded: Trustee Ulrich Ayes: Roberts, Sutker, Ulrich, Bromberg, Klein Gray-Keeler and Mayor Van Dusen Nays: None. Absent: None MOTION CARRIED * Approve, as submitted, minutes of regular meeting held Monday, December 17, 2018. Omnibus vote. * Approve Voucher List #16-FY19 of January 7, 2019. Omnibus vote. She answered questions from the Board. Report of the Village Manager. *A.Domestic Water Booster System Replacement at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts Illinois Pump, Inc., Rolling Meadows, Illinois - $34,964. Motion to award a contract to Illinois Pump, Inc., Rolling Meadows, Illinois in the amount of $34,964 for Domestic Water Booster system replacement at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Omnibus vote. *B. Theatrical Lighting Upgrades at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts – Intelligent Lighting Creations, Inc., Arlington Heights, Illinois - $73,933.97. Motion to award a contract to Intelligent Lighting Creations, Inc., Arlington Heights, IL in the amount of $73,933.97 for Theatrical Lighting upgrades at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Ordinance 19-1-Z-4436 Motion to approve an ordinance approving modifications to the previously approved site plan for the planned development at 9323 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie, Illinois, in a B3 Business district, by granting relief from Chapter 82, Section 82-27(c)(2), of the Skokie Village Code (2018-05M). This item is on the consent agenda for second reading and adoption. Omnibus vote. *B. Ordinance 19-1-Z-4437 Motion to approve an ordinance granting a special use permit to establish and operate a tattoo parlor at 4916 Dempster Street, Skokie, Illinois, in a B3 Business district (2018- 40P). Ordinance 19-1-Z-4439 Motion to adopt an ordinance granting relief from Chapter 118, Section 118-255, of the Skokie Village Code to allow the continuance of a nonconforming building and use at 7877 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, Illinois, in a CX Core Mixed-Use district. Resolution 19-1-R-1414 Motion to adopt a resolution approving and authorizing a Grant of Easement with Commonwealth Edison Company and Illinois Bell Telephone Company dba SBC Ameritech Illinois pertaining to a portion of the Skokie Valley Trail Bike Path adjacent to 4927 Main Street, Skokie, Illinois. Plan Commission Case 2018-44P – Special Use Permit: 7720 Austin Avenue Motion to approve the request for a Special Use Permit for outdoor storage in conjunction with a heavy construction business at 7720 Austin is approved subject to all conditions. Plan Commission Case 2018-45P – Zoning Chapter Amendment: Air Conditioning Condensers from Lot Line Motion to concur with the Plan Commission that Chapter 118, Zoning of the Skokie Village Code be amended to modify the setback requirement for air conditioners from 10 feet to 6 feet. Moved: Trustee Ulrich Seconded: Trustee Sutker Ayes: Roberts, Sutker, Ulrich, Bromberg, Klein Gray-Keeler and Mayor Van Dusen Nays: None. Absent: None MOTION CARRIED Citizen Comments. Mayor Van Dusen congratulated Assistant Village Manager Jason Wicha on his new position as Village Manager in Lake Forest. Adjournment.
