APPROVED Meeting Minutes for CONSUMER AFFAIRS COMMISSION July 16, 2025 VILLAGE HALL, 5127 OAKTON, SKOKIE, IL 60077 – CONFERENCE ROOM A Members Present: Biju Krishman, Ted Lavine, Gary Merrill, George Matthew, Natalie Lopatkiewicz, Jerry Kirkpatrick, Ashley Silverstein Members Absent: Natalie Lopatkiewicz, Pretap Sampat, Anil Pillai Presiding Officer: Biju Krishman Staff Present: Carol White, Economic Vitality Coordinator Others Present: David Dalka 1) At 6:04pm, Chairman Biju Krishman Called to Order/Declaration of Quorum 2) Old Business – none. 3) Approval of Meeting Minutes – June 11, 2025, Biju made a motion. Gary seconded. Motion Passed. 4) New Business Business Visits and Updates  Schaefer’s was visited by Ashley. The road they are located on has been under construction so traffic has been down. They did appreciate being recognized by Business of the Year nomination.  Kneads and Wants was visited by Ted, who dines there every Saturday morning. He appreciates their contributions to the community and the good food. 4) Summary of Public Comment – David Dalka attended as a member of the community and express concerns over multiple interactions with Skokie Businesses and government. 5) Adjournment – 6:55pm Meeting was adjourned.
