LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Skokie Plan Commission, Thursday, January 22, 2015, Village of Skokie, 5127 Oakton Street, Skokie, Illinois 60077, at 7:30 P.M., to consider the following: NEW ACTION TAKEN 2014-35P – Site Plan Approval: 3219 Oakton Street Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago and Monarch Asphalt Approved Co., on behalf of Builders Asphalt, LLC, request site plan approval to 9-0-0 remove the 2 existing silos and asphalt production facilities and replace with 4 new silos and asphalt production facilities at an existing legal nonconforming quarrying and stone cutting establishment in an M3 Industry zoning district. In addition, relief is requested from §118- 174(1)a. of the Village Code to construct buildings with a height of 67’ rather than the required 45’ maximum. PIN: 10-09-304-025-0000 2014-34P – Site Plan Approval: 9747-9999 Woods Drive Old Orchard Land Acquisition, LLC, requests modification to an existing Approved site plan approval to add and reconfigure surface parking spaces in an OR 9-0-0 Office Research zoning district. In addition, relief is requested from various subsections of §118-175 of the Village Code to provide yards of 20’ on the east, 48.2’ on the north, and 2.5’ on the west side of both lots taken together rather than the 50’ required yards. Also, relief is requested from §118-212(a)(1) to reduce the required angled parking driveway aisle from 17’ to 15.5’ within certain portions of the parking lot. Because of the proposed subdivision, additional relief will be required from §118-175 to allow 100% encroachment of the 50’ required yard. Additional relief may be discovered during the review of this case.
