LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Skokie Zoning Board of Appeals, Wednesday, December 17, 2014, Village of Skokie, 5127 Oakton Street, Skokie, Illinois 60077, at 7:30 P.M., to consider the following: NEW ACTION TAKEN 2014-19Z – 5152 Main Street Approved with conditions Isar H. Malik and Zubair A. Rafiqi request a variance in order to 7-0-2 maintain a sign that results in two signs in a signable area, a sign with 100% product and service identification and a sign less than 2 Covenant required feet away from the edge of the tenant’s space rather than one sign per signable area, maximum 25% product and service identification per sign and a 2 foot minimum setback from the edge of a tenant space as required by Sections 82-27(c)(2), 82-21, and 82-27(c)(3) of the Skokie Village Code in a B1 Service Commercial district. 2014-20Z – 9709 Kostner Avenue Denied Anning Wu and Nan Jiang request a variance in order to construct 7-0-2 an addition (attached garage) resulting in a 17.29-foot front yard rather than 25-foot minimum as required by Section 118-112(5) of the Zoning Chapter of the Skokie Village Code in a R2 Single- Family district.
