This meeting is scheduled to be held in the event that items on the March 25, 2025 agenda cannot be taken up in one meeting. I. Open Session Chairperson announces the intent to move to enter into Executive Session pursuant to Mass. General Laws chapter 30A, Section 21 (a) (1), to hold a hearing to discuss and vote on the discipline or dismissal of (including the pay status), or complaints brought against, a Springfield Police Officer, in the matter of Special Order (SO) #24-015. The employee may request that the hearing be held in open session. If the hearing and vote is held in Executive Session, the Board of Police Commissioners will not reconvene in Open Session following the conclusion of the Executive Session. A roll call vote is required. II. Executive Session Special Order (SO) #24-015- Violation of Rules & Regulations The Board intends to enter into Executive Session pursuant to Mass. General Laws chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(1), to hold a hearing to discuss the discipline or dismissal of, or complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member, or individual, in the matter of Special Order (SO) #24-015, unless the employee requests an open session. If the discussion and vote is held in Executive Session, the Board of Police Commissioners will not reconvene in Open Session following the conclusion of Executive Session. Roll call vote required.
