Call to Order 3:00 PM Meeting called to order on October 18, 2022 at City Hall--Room 220, 36 Court Street, Springfield, MA. Approval of Minutes Board Member Katherine Garvey made a motion to approve the public minutes for the Springfield Mobile Home Rent Control Board Public Meeting held on October 18, 2022. Motion was seconded by Board Member Daniel Baro with a unanimous vote to approve. III. Review Tenant Hardship Applications The Board began to review the hardship applications received. There was discussion regarding the criteria and system which would be used to determine if a tenant hardship would be approved. The Board discussed not making final decisions regarding the applications until counsel for the Board could obtain data and metrics HUD uses to determine a household is low income. The Board will use that information when making decisions regarding hardship. Board Member Baro made a motion to take the hardship applications under advisement until counsel could gather the information requested for the Board. Motion was seconded by Board Member Garvey.
