Rules and procedures.
1. ROLL CALL.
2. CLOSED SESSION.
City Council will hold a closed meeting to discuss legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a
public governmental body and any confidential or privileged communications between a public
governmental body or its representatives and its attorneys pursuant to Section 610.021(1), RSMo.; and
leasing, purchase or sale of real estate by a public governmental body where public knowledge of the
transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration therefor pursuant to Section 610.021(2),
RSMo.; and sealed proposals and related documents or any documents related to a negotiated
contract until a contract is executed, or all proposals are rejected; pursuant to Section 610.021(12),
RSMo; and this meeting, record, and vote shall be closed and the City Council shall stand adjourned at
the end of the closed session.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2-32 OF THE SPRINGFIELD CITY CODE, NOTICE
IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL IS HEREBY
CALLED FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:
1. ROLL CALL.
2. CLOSED SESSION.
City Council will hold a closed meeting to discuss legal actions, causes of action or litigation
involving a public governmental body and any confidential or privileged communications
between a public governmental body or its representatives and its attorneys pursuant to Section
610.021(1), RSMo.; and leasing, purchase or sale of real estate by a public governmental body

SAID MEETING SHALL BE HELD beginning at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, and is to be
held at the Regional Police-Fire Training Center (Room 109), 2620 West Battlefield Road.
