Tree City USA Citizen Advisory Committee Regular Meeting Agenda Aug. 21, 2025 — 9–10 a.m. Environmental Resource Center first floor meeting room, 290 E. Central St. Committee will advise City Council and appropriate City Departments​ regarding the city’s trees and the community’s urban forest and assist in​ continuing to qualify Springfield as a Tree City USA community. Call to Order ●​ Welcome and introductions ●​ Approval of May/June meeting minutes ○​ Committee met informally in June and did not meet in July Unfinished Business ●​ Report to mayor/city council ○​ Written report, council lunch presentation later this year? ○​ Request for tree-inventory assessment ○​ Recommendations to mayor for appointment: ■​ Ben Tegeler, Ozark Greenways seat ■​ Anna Dowell, CFO seat (after Aaron rolls off) New Business ●​ Post-storm tree clean-up protocol ○​ “Tree Surgeon” guidance?
