Call to Order The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:33 pm. II. Roll Call The Chair directed the Associate Clerk to call the roll, and the following members answered to their names: Ms. Boyd, Ms. Schweitzer, Ms. Cox Antwi, and Mr. Browning. 4 members were present. A quorum was established. III. Approval of Minutes The Chair stated they would entertain a motion to approve the minutes of the Wednesday, January 28, 2026, committee meeting. Ms. Schweitzer moved to approve the minutes of the Wednesday, January 28, 2026, committee meeting. Seconded by Ms. Cox Antwi The Chair directed the Associate Clerk to call the roll on the motion to approve the Wednesday, January 28 2026, committee meeting minutes. The following voted Aye: Ms.Boyd, Ms. Schweitzer, Ms. Cox Antwi, and Mr. Browning. 4 Aye votes were cast. Board Bills for Review (The Committee will discuss and take public comment on the following) Item Number 1 Board Bill Number 81 Introduced by Alderwoman Laura Keys The bill directs the Director of Streets to install speed humps pursuant to Ordinance Number 70333 as amended by Ordinance Number 71394 to calm the flow of traffic on the 3600 and 3700 blocks of Grandel Square and the 3600, 3700 and 3800 blocks of Washington Avenue. The Chair recognized Ms. Keys on Board Bill Number 81 Ms. Keys provided information on the need to calm the flow of traffic on the above-mentioned streets. After no further comments from Ms. Keys , the Chair opened the discussion up to the committee. The committee had no questions. The Chair recognized Ms. Keys to close. Ms. Keys asked the committee for favorable consideration and a Do Pass Recommendation on Board Bill Number 81. The Chair stated he would entertain a motion to pass Board Bill Number 81 out of committee with a Do Pass Recommendation. The Chair recognized Ms. Schweitzer on Board Bill Number 135 Ms. Schweitzer provided information on the need to calm the flow of traffic.
