Scott Bukovic for 20 consecutive years of dedicated service in the community and the department. Chief Gruen recognized the following staff with departmental awards for their outstanding service and accomplishments: 1) Ofc. Robert Arndt received the Felony Arrest Commendation for his response to an incident that occurred on July 22, 2025. 2) Ofc. Kamil Broda received the Felony Arrest Commendation for his response to an incident that occurred on August 30, 2025. 3) Ofc. Bartlomiej Broda received the Life Saving Award for his response to an incident that occurred on September 15, 2025. 4) Mr. Jim Bartel received the Chief's Recognition Commendation for volunteering in support of the Westmont Citizens' Police Academy since 2012. B. Swearing-in Ceremony Mayor Nero conducted oaths for the following Police Department staff: 1) Shane Pollina and Cesar Chaidez were sworn in as Police Officers. 2) Jeremy Durst was sworn in as Police Sergeant.
