Band Commission

Monday, December 12, 2022 5:30pm Gamon Meeting Room, Wheaton City Hall I. Call to Order Chair Dottie Mackie called the meeting to order at 5:30pm. Commissioners present were: Dottie Mackie, Anna Orland, Don Westlake, John Dalby. Absent: Susan Brinkman No outside attendees were present. OLD BUSINESS II. Approval of Minutes Meeting notes for 5/1/21 were approved. NEW BUSINESS III. Discussed upcoming concert season. The season’s brochure will be printed and mailed out to the community. Each concert and guest conductors will be highlighted for the individual concerts. Last season was a success. Friends of the Band will again have concessions in their new location on the backside of the bandshell. Popcorn, candy, water and soda will be sold. The budget will be forwarded to all of the Commission members to review. members are tenured. I. Adjournment Dottie Mackie adjourned the meeting at 5:59pm. No date for next meeting was scheduled.
