Call to Order 7 pm Alyse called to order II. Agenda Item-Approval of October Minutes A. * Rita motioned B. * Laurel seconded C. All approved by voice vote III. Agenda Item-Public Comment A. Connor and family moved to Wheaton; likes to bike and walk around downtown Wheaton IV. Agenda Item-Chair Report A. Sidney Kenyon - attended to tell us about the county trail plan; Winfield Rd shoulder plan from Mack to Roosevelt; in long term plan for asphalt path - not in 5 year program but looking into it; Sidney could use letters of support; Sidney shared maintenance plans for the trails and the survey results- plan will be approve in March/April 2023. East Branch DuPage River Trail - waiting for funding from Congressman Casten’s office. Pursuing update to bike plan - last time the county did a plan was 2008 - want to take a fresh approach - looking for grant funds, applied to CMAP. Will be an Active Transportation Plan. Want to address sidewalk gap plans; make connections to municipality plans. B. Sidewalk Proposal to City Council - it is city property and therefore we expect it will be done C. Safety Rodeo proposal to Wheaton Park District D. IPP meeting - in November Michelle, Bob and George attended - creating signs for PP; Bridge over Roosevelt to get into Blackwell going to be built; metal postcards will be put up at Mile Marker 0 E. 2023 Budget Approved F. New member Cate Brady  BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES October, 19, 2022 V. Agenda Item-Vote on giveaways for next year- $1000 A. Laurel made motion to purchase 200 lights and balance of $1000 spent on bags B. Michelle seconded C. All approved by voice vote VI. Agenda Item-Roosevelt Rd Underpass Proposal A.
