Chair Report- Cromwell Path Signage - City is still reviewing the request
Chair Report-DuPage Trails Stakeholder -
● Trail Guide should be used for proposals for any crossings
● Illegal access to trails, ie bridges from people’s homes - not doing anything about it unless
garbage being dumped
● Different services such as crushed limestones or combos of different types of materials; they
looked into solar powered concrete in the Netherlands which was $2.7M for a small section so
they will not be looking into it for DuPage County
● Will remove invasive species - will be volunteer led effort, will reach out
● bridges are less than 8.33% grades
● Trails app website is not an app won’t be an app yet
● Nov 17th - comments are due Friday

Chair Report-APS Signal Proposal presented to City Council + City Council Notes
● 100 W Roosevelt Rd - was supposed to become apartment building but owner backed away
● People still oppose parking lot at Cosley
Chair Report-Co-chair time commitment
● Michelle and Alyse discussed how much time they spend on various chair responsibilities.
Election in January for Alyse’s Co-Chair position
● We talked about how to format meetings to be able to spend time on longer goals such as Bike
Plan or BFC. Idea is to split meeting time - start with long term goals. Add any notes to meeting
agenda ahead of time for items that are simply announcements to avoid taking meeting time.

Cultural Walk 2024 - Walking Tour of the Fire Hydrants - Michelle will reach out to David and cultural
commission 1st or 3rd Weekend of May 2024

Photo Contest/Underpass Art - Alyse to write a letter to the City to see if we can partner with a HS to
have someone paint the underpass.
