BOARD OF FIRE & POLICE COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES January 7, 2015 Call to Order and Roll Call At 6:30 p.m. a special meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Director of Human Resources Duguay. The meeting was held in the Gamon Room, 2nd Floor, Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Commissioner Edward Dulaney, Commissioner Thomas Schreiber, and Commissioner Anne Wanzenberg. Also present were Fire Chief Schultz and Director of Human Resources Duguay. Commissioner Dulaney moved and Commissioner Schreiber seconded to appoint Commissioner Wanzenberg as Chair Pro Tem for this evening’s meeting. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Commissioner Dulaney Commissioner Schreiber Commissioner Wanzenberg Nays: None Absent: Chair Cannova Motion Carried Unanimously Closed Session – Review of Firefighter Candidate Test and Interviews for Possible Employment [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)] At 6:35 p.m., Commissioner Schreiber moved, seconded by Commissioner Dulaney, to adjourn to Closed Session for Firefighter Candidate Interview and to consider information concerning the employment and appointment of specific candidates. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Commissioner Schreiber Chair Pro Tem Wanzenberg Commissioner Dulaney Nays: None Absent: Chair Cannova Motion Carried Unanimously The Board returned to Open Session at 8:56 p.m. Adjournment Commissioner Dulaney moved and Commissioner Schreiber seconded to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
