Board of Fire & Police Commissioners Regular Meeting Minutes August 24, 2018 Call to Order and Roll Call At 3:31 p.m., the regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Chair Cannova. The meeting was held in the Gamon Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Chair Cannova, Commissioner Dulaney, Commissioner Haines and Commissioner Wanzenberg. Also present were Chief Murphy, Deputy Chief Youker, and Executive Assistant Qualkenbush. Commissioner Illia was absent. Public Comment None New Business Commissioner Dulaney moved and Commissioner Wanzenberg seconded to go into Closed Session for the purpose of interviewing Police Officer candidates. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Commissioner Wanzenberg Chair Cannova Commissioner Dulaney Commissioner Haines Nays: None Absent: Commissioner Illia Motion Carried Unanimously Adjournment Commissioner Haines moved and Commissioner Wanzenberg seconded to adjourn the regular meeting at 4:53 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
