WHEATON BOARD OF FIRE & POLICE COMMISSIONERS MEETING MINUTES WHEATON CITY HALL, 303 w WESLEY sTREET, WHEATON, ILLINOIS 60w é Monday, July 15‘“, 2024 Open Meeting 5:15 p.m. Call to Order At 5:15 p.m., Chair Illia called to order the regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. The meeting was held in the Gamon Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Chair Illia, Commissioner Wanzenberg, and Commissioner Haines. Human Resources Director Schulz was also present. Commissioners Cannova and Vroman were absent. Public Comment — None Approval of Minutes Commissioner Wanzenberg moved, and Commissioner Haines seconded the motion to approve the meeting minutes of both July 7, 2024, and July 10, 2024 Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Chair Illia CommissionerWanzenberg Commissioner Haines Nays: None Commissioners Cannova and Vroman were absent Motion Carried Old Business — none New Business — a. Approval of Initial Entry Level Police Officer Eligibility List (with preference points) Commissioner Wanzenberg moved, and Commissioner Haines seconded the motion to approve the Initial Entry Level Police Officer Eligibility List (with preference points). The motion passed unanimously. b. Approval of Initial Firefighter Eligibility List (with preference points) The corrected list will be approved at the next BFPC meeting scheduled July 31, 2024. BOARD OF FIRE & POLICE COMMISSERS MEETING MINUTES March 8, 2023 VI.
