Commission Vice-Chair Johnson indicated that since several initiatives were initiated by former Commission Chair Barger before he resigned to move to Florida, we will need to hear from Commission Chair Eisenmann regarding the status of any of those initiatives. - Commissioner Kay noted reports that one in six renters are behind in their rent during the pandemic VI. New Business Election of officers for CY2020/2021 - while the city’s fiscal year has shifted to a calendar year basis, the election of officers remains as before, with elections held in May or the next available meeting. Because the Housing Commission does not meet every month, the election of officers would therefore move from May (previously our last meeting of the year) to August or September (the first meeting of the new year). This was noted for future years. Commissioners Eisenmann and Johnson have agreed to continue in their roles as Chair and Vice Chair. Commissioner Gilbertson moved and Commissioner Horton seconded the approval of these officers. The motion was unanimously approved by a voice vote.
