CITY OF WHEATON COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMISSION Festival of Cultures Subcommittee Special Meeting Minutes – Wednesday, August 22, 2018 I. Call to Order: by Tony Asta at 7:36pm II. Welcome and Roll Call: Commission Members Present Shayne, Gail, Julie, Leslie, Tony III. Continuing Business  Leslie gave an update on sponsorship  Julie gave an update on food trucks, permits, insurance, etc.  We discussed the budget  Tony went over the number of groups we have  We discussed the layout of the site  We discussed approximate times of getting there and setting up  We discussed social media, poster distribution  We discussed the passports, contents, deadlines for review, approval and copy to the printers  Tony called about Wheaton Police presence  We discussed the mural and how that will all play out  Erica will contact the Mayor and Council members VI. Adjournment: Julie motioned to adjourn the meeting. Leslie seconded it at 8:21 p.m.
