Festival of Cultures Subcommittee Wednesday, August 29, 2018 I. Call to Order: by Tony Asta at 7:32pm II. Welcome and Roll Call: Commission Members Present Gail, Julie, Leslie, Shayne III. Continuing Business  Leslie gave an update on sponsorship  Julie gave an update on food trucks, checks, permits, insurance, etc.  Tony gave an update on the groups…it seems as though 34 will be participating in the event  We have 4 people who will provide their personal immigration story on the performance stage  We discussed communication: posters, newspaper, social media  Tony will work with Larniecia, who will MC the event, on the timing and details on the performance stage.  The Mayor will give a brief talk at the beginning of the event.  Tony talked about details of the mural  Tony will contact Sharon regarding proper protocol in recognizing Councilmembers in attendance.
