Festival of Cultures Subcommittee Wednesday, September 5, 2018 CALL TO ORDER at 630 pm. WELCOME ROLL CALL: Present: Asta, Mayster, VMiller, Smith, Forrest, Kulovits Absent: Nelson, Day CONTINUING BUSINESS:  Performances all confirmed and checks in process.  Question came up about providing tables and canopies from Sister City (TAshe). She was told to go to special rental place or to ask Park District.  Due date for all inputs for Passport is Friday Sep 7th to Alex. Proof to team by Monday Sep 10, replies to Alex by Tues COB; Alex to submit to Alphagraphics by Wednesday Sep 12. We will have final copy by Friday September 14.  Sponsorship: Should we recommend allowing Park District to be a sponsor by manner of their break as a city entity? NO – we will give them a thank you in the “special thanks” section.  Need to resolve whether there is a map going into the Passport (Tony to resolve with Erica).  Julie to provide food truck info to Alex.  Speakers will share stories between music performances Tony to provide info to Alex.  Leslie needs to get completed ads to Alex by Friday.  Burning Bush to sponsor interactive mural with Wheaton College.  Tony also to provide list of additional “special thanks” like photographer, above, etc.  Gail to bring toys for kids as Passport completion “award.” MEETING CLOSED AT 710 Next Meeting Weds 9/12 700pm
