City of Wheaton Fine and Cultural Arts Commission City Hall February 21, 2018 Minutes 1. Call to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 6:40. Present were Sarah Antas, Tony Asta, Mike Bock, Dee Hicks, Laurie Oberhelman. Absent: Bill Austin and Kathy Young. Also present was Alberta Albertson. 2._________Public Comment None 3. New Business A Agenda approved. Motion Mike, second Tony B. Minutes from February 13 approved with corrections. Motion Tony, Second Sarah 4. Old Business Sarah reported that she had met with marketing department from City of Wheaton and they are working on a sell sheet. It should be complete by 2/23 so that we can start signing up sponsors. Laurie is working with the USGA to finalize their commitment to this project including sponsorship and comp tickets. Alberta presented concepts for display boards which included: Course Designers, Club Manufacturers, Ball Manufacturers, Golf Courses and national Champions that came from Wheaton. We need to decide on size and get estimates to make these displays. Hopefully we will be able to use the Library to put this display together District and Library on Thursday and should have a better idea how to approach this situation. 5..
