City of Wheaton Fine and Cultural Arts Comission City Hal May 2, 2018 Minutes Cal to Order President Mike Bock caled the meeting to order at 6:04. Those in attendance: Sarah Antas… Tony Asta… Mike Bock… Dee Hicks… Laurie Oberhelman and AKathy Young. Absent: Bil Austin. 2._________Public Coment None 3. New Business A The agenda was aproved. Moved by Kathy… seconded by Sarah. The April 25 minutes were aproved. Moved by Laurie… seconded by Tony 4. Old Business Golf Project: Laurie presented an outline that included important dates… Golf bal scheduling… marketing updates…reception and bal locations. It was suggested that a sign be put on the paint tables advising artists not to stack cans. Artists have been giving Mike positive feedback on our attention to detail including ordering custom paint colrs. It was considered that we purchase 100 golf bals… put some type of I.D. on them … comission… City of Wheaton… USGA….These would be hidden throughout Wheaton and the “kids ” would colect them and claim prizes. Tony is loking into cost. Laurie is checking with City. Discussion was had about entering a float in the 4 th of July parade. Tony wil check into procurement of golf carts.
