Fine & Cultural Arts Commission

26, September, 2018 I. Call to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 6:01. Those in attendance: Sarah Antas, Bill Austin, Mike Bock, Dee Hicks, Laurie Oberhelman and Kathy Young. Absentee: Tony Asta II. Agenda Item Lorrie moved and Kathy seconded the approval of the agenda. Motion carried. III. Agenda Item Gold Ball Project: Balls for USGA, City and Winscape are in the annex. The USGA would like us to send the ball to them. Mike will check with Busch Plastics to see if they can accommodate their request. All comments regarding this project were positive. We had notecards left over. Each artist will be given one packet. Bill and Laurie will distribute accordingly. IV. Agenda item Website link: It was suggested that there be a link to connect all art events in the City. i.e. Band, Wheaton Drama, Burning Bush, Library. This would promote the arts in the area. V. Agenda item Survey: We would like to do a survey monkey through the City asking residents what they would be interested in regarding the arts.
