26, November 2019 I. Call to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m. Those present: Tony Asta, Dee Hicks, Laurie Swanson Oberhelman, Kathy Young. Absent: Sarah Antas. II. Agenda Items Mike Bock moved and Tony Asta seconded the approval of the agenda. Motion carried. Tony Asta moved and Mike Bock seconded that October 22 minutes be approved. Motion carried. III. Agenda Item (carried over from September 22 meeting) Bill Austin: We will meet at 302 at 5:30 on December 10 to present Bill with a pewter mug engraved with: Bill Austin Wheaton Fine & Cultural Arts Commission Years of Service 2005 – 2019. Agenda Item Golf ball at Burning Bush. Mike picked up ball and stored it in basement Agenda Item (carried over from September 22 meeting) Future projects. Possible events: Fire plug painting. “Love Locks” on chain link fence. “Find the Art Bear”. Frames for pictures at cultural spots in Wheaton. Tree wraps. We will discuss the logistics of these projects at future meeting. Agenda Item New commissioner. Mike will place a notice in the newsletter announcing the availability of a commission seat on our commission. The procedure for consideration is A. fill out application. B.
