Bear”. Frames for pictures at cultural spots in Wheaton. Tree wraps. We will discuss the logistics of
these projects at future meeting.
Agenda Item:
Fire Plug painting. Mike checked with Sharon and was advised to talk with Fire Department and
public works for directions on how to proceed. It was suggested that someone talk to Lombard Fire
Department where the project had been done several years ago. Questions included: what kind of
paint must be used. How many plugs and where would they be located. More directions are
needed.
Agenda Item (no change)
New commissioner. Mike has received two applicants and will set up appointments for interview. It
was suggested that we interview at next scheduled meeting, however it is felt that all members be
present. Mike will check with Sharon for logistics using virtual meeting. Candidates are: David Duve
and Gerald Gallager.

Agenda Item (no change)
Music in the Park was cancelled. There will be future discussion about this event including the
renaming.
Agenda Item
Laurie Swanson Oberhelman followed up with the Chamber and DWA regarding Covid 19 mask
design art project for the fall. The Chamber had no interest, but the DWA proposed a window
painting project and needed our help. Laurie will inquire what DWA needs and how we can assist.
DWA needs to outline the project…i.e. how many windows, what to present to the artists, is there a
theme, time schedule. The Covid project didn’t seem to take precedence
Adjournment
Tony Asta moved and Laurie Swanson Oberhelman seconded that the meeting be adjourned at 6:35.
Respectfully submitted.
