June 27 2023 Minutes, City Hall I. Call to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 6:00p.m. II. Roll Call Those present: Mike Bock, Dee Hicks, Laurie Swanson, Randy King, Sarah Antas and Lewis Achenbach. Dave Duve was absent. III. Agenda Mike Bock moved, and Laurie Swanson seconded the approval of the agenda. Motion carried. IV. Approval of Minutes: Laurie Swanson moved to accept amended June 1, 2023 minutes. Mike Bock seconded. Motion carried. V. New Business: International Day of Music: Mike Bock moved, and Sarah Antas seconded to allocate up to $3500 to underwrite International Day of Music to be held October 1 in the band shell. Motion carried. Festival of Cultures: Mike Bock is checking to see if our Commission needs to be involved. Andy Warhol birthday party: Sarah Antas is working on obtaining permits from City. Lewis Achenbach moved, and Randy King seconded that we allocate up to $3000 for birthday party to be held August 5 at the French Market from 9am to 2pm. Motion carried. VI.
