Minutes June 3, 2024 Gamon Room, Wheaton City Hall I. Call to Order 6:02 p.m. II. Roll Call Present: Lewis Achenbach, Sarah Antas, Mike Bock, Vittoria Clay, Randy King, Lynette Zellis. Absent: Dee Hicks Public: Victoria Isikman III. Public Comments None IV. Agenda: V. Approval of Minutes: Mike moved and Randy seconded to approve Minutes from meeting on 4/23/2024. Mike moved and Vittoria seconded to approve Minutes from 5/7/2024 VI. New Business: Welcome to Lynette Zelis, new Commission member VII. Old Business: Make Music Day- Lynette shared that a lot of people have asked her about places to play. Lynette and Vittora shared that the website is not always easy to log in to. Randy brought drumsticks and harmonicas. Lewis said we have to send pictures (preferably from behind, no faces) of people using drumsticks and harmonicas to MMA. Lynette’s husband works for Ace- she will ask for plastic buckets to “drum”. Vittoria will take care of creating a volunteer sign-up. Lynette suggested we make a map of places where there will be music. Mural: Randy and Lewis will be giving a presentation on the mural to the City Council on June 10th, 2024 VIII.
