FOREIGN FIRE TAX BOARD MEETING February 4, 2016 CALLED TO ORDER 0906 Board Members Present: Chief Schultz, FF Ruck (Via video conference,) Lt. Hunecke, FF Baus, FF Igara, FF Tabb, Lt. Cochran Others present: Asst. Chief Vassios (arrived at 0939,) Lt. Weiss, Asst. Chief Lake Old Minutes The minutes from the December 1 2015 meeting were reviewed. A motion to accept the minutes pending a date correction in the heading of the minutes was made by Chief Schultz. The motion was seconded by FF Igara. The motion passed unanimously Treasurer’s Report FF Ruck presented a report of the current account balances and recent purchases. FF Baus motioned to approve the report, and FF Tabb seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously Public Comment - None Agenda Additions - FF Williams proposed buying some general station supplies. This proposal was tabled pending further investigation into setting up accounts for each station, and appointing station representatives from the FFT board. Old Business - New Yorker helmets - Tabled until next meeting when Chief Schultz will provide a final quote. New Business Workout room monitors – Williams – FF Williams is proposing that we purchase new monitors for the workout rooms at all stations. Lt. Hunecke motioned to purchase 3 training monitors and mounting equipment for the 3 workout rooms not to exceed $1500. FF Igara seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously Cabinetry at 38 – Lt. Weiss – Lt. Weiss is proposing that we get cabinetry built and delivered for station 38 to store Class A uniforms. This is being tabled until next meeting when we can get 2 more quotes.  Thermal imaging cameras – Lt. Weiss – Lt. Weiss is proposing that we purchase 3 new Bullard Eclipse LDX thermal imaging cameras and accessories for the frontline fire apparatus. Lt. Hunecke motioned to purchase the 3 new TIC’s and accessories not to exceed $24,000 following the purchasing policies of the FFT Board. Lt. Cochran seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously Fitness reimbursements – Lt. Hunecke motioned to reimburse FF Igara, FF Cox, and Lt. Kitahata per the FFT fitness reimbursement policy. FF Igara seconded the motion.
